16th Annual Chili Fest – Team Registration Open
The Downtown Tupelo Main Street Association (DTMSA) will host the 16th annual Chili Fest on Friday, October 16th. The one-day festival will be held on South Broadway Street between Main and Troy and will consist of lunch, music and a chili cook-off.
Teams of four members compete against other teams in a number of prize categories. Not only are the teams judged on their chili, they are also judged on presentation, team spirit, costumes, most creative tent and the most original theme. Teams can be made up of friends, co-workers, relatives, clubs or anyone who likes to have a good time and has a great chili recipe. The entry fee is $40 if you register by Friday, September 18th. Team registrations will be accepted, as space is available for $50 until October 2nd. Registration forms can be downloaded at www.tupelomainstreet.com or picked up at the DTMSA office- 108 S. Broadway Street in downtown Tupelo.
