Organization is the key to a successful downtown revitalization program. Strong organization provides the stability to build and maintain a long-term effort. Organization helps such diverse groups as bankers, city and county officials, merchants, civic organizations, downtown residents, churches and individuals interested in downtown work together more effectively. The Downtown Tupelo/Main Street Association is a membership organization with over 200 individual members.
