The NMSO closes the season with a semi-staged version of Frank Loesser’s immortal score Guys and Dolls. Set in Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, this oddball romantic comedy features gambler Nathan Detroit, his girlfriend and nightclub performer, Adelaide, fellow gambler Sky Masterson, and the straight-laced missionary Sarah Brown. Travel from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana, Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City. The production is a collaboration of the NMSO and the outstanding University of Memphis Department of Musical Theatre.
